In the new production „it is what it is“ by HARTMANNMUELLER two performers are performing on stage different actions. A voiceover describes precisely what happens on stage, passes the perception of the viewer on details and comments on the supposed emotional state of the performer. "It is what it is" is creating a kind of motion picture and directs a play with perspective shifts and interpretations: Are the two performers standing for two different people or for two ways of looking at one person? Is the voiceover pretending the rhythm and character of the actions or have the actors a creative leeway?
