Variations
Six speakers are placed around the listeners. Three CD players play random tracks simultaneously, resulting in an unpredictable three-layered soundscape of endless variations.
These tracks are improvisations on instruments such as the bass clarinet, saxophone, prepared guitare, piano as well as objects like a typewriter, metal barrel and wine glasses.
They were recorded in acoustically distinctive locations such as an old train station, basement and recording studio.
